Hon. He Shijing, the newly assigned Chinese Consul General arrived in Cebu City on the evening of August 6, 2007.

At Cebu Mactan International Airport, Consul General He Shijing and his wife Yuan Qin were accorded a warm welcome by Undersecretary Francisco Benedicto of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, the representatives from the local Chinese communities and all the staff members and their family of the Chinese Consulate General in Cebu. The Consul General extended his sincere thanks to the welcoming group and expressed his honor of being assigned to work on the beautiful island of Cebu.
