|Wang Yi: The second CIIE was an unprecedented event|
On November 23 local time, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Nagoya.
Wang noted the stable growth of the Chinese economy despite a severe external environment. The second China International Import Expo concluded recently was an unprecedented event. Among the participants were representatives from over 180 countries, regions and international organizations, more than 3,800 exhibited businesses and over 500,000 Chinese and foreign purchasers. Deals reached at the second CIIE amounted to more than $71 billion, increased by 23 percent compared to that in the first CIIE. China will stay committed to opening up while forming a new structure of all-out opening-up.
