Wang Yi said, culture is the most enduring power. Exchanges and dialogues among civilizations can make people calm down, draw lessons from the long history, and enlighten the future through exchanges and mutual learning. They transcend disputes and contradictions, help us find the key to today's challenges, and consolidate the cultural foundation for building a community with a shared future for mankind. As ancient civilizations with a history spanning thousands of years, we should enhance confidence in our civilization, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and contribute wisdom to solving our own problems and problems facing the modern world.

Foreign Ministers present had in-depth exchanges of views on strengthening exchanges in culture and among civilizations, and reached a four-point consensus. First, different countries, ethnic groups and civilizations should respect and treat each other as equals, stay open and inclusive, learn from each other, and oppose all forms of xenophobia and discrimination against civilizations; second, we need to strengthen exchanges and dialogue among different civilizations, in a bid to find new solutions to modern problems from time-honored civilizations; third, efforts should be made to safeguard multilateralism, preserve the hard-won achievements of civilizations, uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core, and maintain the international order based on international law; and fourth, the forum will further promote practical cooperation and further enhance connection among the Forum and international institutions and multilateral mechanisms, including the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, to expand its influence.
